#14 Mukatsuku

 

In this lesson, Dama teaches us how to use the phrases “Mukatsuku” which means various things including, “annoying” and ” a pain in the neck”.

LESSON #14: Makastsuku : I’m pissed off

1. アレックスまじでむかつく
Alex maji de mukatsuku
Alex is really pissing me off

2. クラブに入れなくてまじでむかついたよ
Kurabu ni hairenakute maji de mukatsuita yo
I was really pissed off that I couldn’t get into the club

3. 隣のがきがうるさくてむかついてきた
tonari no gaki ga urusakute,mukatsuitekita
The noisy brat next door was getting on my nerves

4. なんやねん、むかつく
nanyanen, mukatsuku
What the hell? That sucks / That’s annoying (kansai dialect)

5. もうむかつく！
Moh, mukatsuku!
Oh honestly!

itsugoro nihon ni kitano?
When did you come to Japan ?

b) まだ最近です けど
mada saikin des kedo
I only got here recently / I haven’t been here that long

4.
a) 日本は長い？
nihonwa nagai?
Have you been in Japan a long time ?

b) いや一年も たってない ですよ
iya ichinen mo tattenai des yo
No, I haven’t even been here a year

a) あ、 そうですか
a soudeska?
Oh really ?

日本語上手 ね
nihongo jouzu ne
You’re Japanese is good isn’t it?

b) あ,そうですか？ まだまだですよ。
a,soudeska? madamada des yo
Really ? I’m still not that good

齧る程度ですけど。。。
