a) な、itunes使い方分かった？
b) うん、分かったでもpodcastの登録のしかたが分からへんねん。
a) え？なんでよ。昨日何回も説明したやん。
b) そうやけどなんかややこしいから分からへんねん。

a) na itunes tsukaikata wakatta?
b) un, wakatta, demo podcast no touroku no shikata ga
wakarahen nen
a) e? nande yo? Kinou nankaimo setsumei shita yan
b) sou yakedo nanka yayakoshii kara wakarahen nen

a) Did you work out how to use iTunes?
b) Yeah, I did but I don’t know how to subscribe to podcasts.
a) Eh? Why? I told you repeatedly yesterday.
b) That’s true but it’s complicated so I don’t understand.

I’d like the 6:30pm showing please

b) ６時３０からですね。禁煙席でよろしい ですか
rokuji han kara des ne kinenseki de yoroshii des ka
So that’s 6:30 right ? Would you like no smoking seats ?

a) はい
hai
yes

b) では ２枚で３６００円になります
dewa 2mai de sanzen roppyaku en ni narimas
Right, that’ll be 3600 yen please

a) マトリックス３面白かった？
Matorikks 3 omoshirokatta ?
Was Matrix 3 good ?

b) ん、すごく よかった よ
Nn sugoku yokatta yo
Yeah, it was very good

a) え？ 本当に？私は面白くなかった な
eh? Hontou ni watshi wa omoshirokunakatta na
Really? I thought it was boring.

(Please note that in this situation this translates as “I thought it was boring” and NOT “ I was boring” due
to the context of the situation)

b) なんで?すごく迫力もあったし…
nande sugoku hakuryoku mo atta shi…
Why? I thought it was powerful…

俳優も格好よかったじゃない?
Haiyuu mo kakkou yokatta janai ?
Don’t you think the actors were really cool?

a) そう？ ストーリ が よくなかったもん
sou? sutoori ga yokunakatta mon
Really ? The story wasn’t good.

I think it’ll take a week
