I've started this thread to let you wonderful Learn Japanese Podders know the latest goings on with the site and podcast.

So what has been going on?

Show notes and member's area
I've been very busy formatting the show notes for all of the podcasts we have put out so far which is about 99 lessons. I'm going to set up a member's area for people to access them. This member's area will include all the show notes for a small monthly, 6 montly or yearly fee. The reason I am charging for the show notes is because I need some way to pay for the costs of associated with producing and hosting the podcasts. 

Learn Japanese iPod app
We are getting quite a nice steady stream of people buying the Learn Japanese Pod iPhone app. Again, the revenue from this will go to pay for the costs of running the site. So thanks to all of you who have bought the app. As I am putting up the member's area, I will be releasing some exclusive content and lessons for the iPhone app.

The Forum
It's been very quiet here recently but we have been getting a lot of new member's to the forum which is awesome. I do however think that some redundant threads and topics might have to be culled to focus the forum and attract more posts. So please don't be shy and tell us what you are think here on the forum. If any of you have any ideas about the forum please let me know.

Not many new podcasts
Back in the happy days, there seemed to be a lot of people with free time and energy on their hands to help me record podcasts. Now, here in the big sushi (Tokyo) it seems these people are fewer and further between. And they are all crazy busy here in Tokyo. However, fret not because the number one priority on my list is to make some new podcasts and put them on the site as soon as possible. So apologies for the delay but the next podcast is going to be the insane, crazy and completely bonkers lesson 100. If you have any ideas for this please tell me.

Well that's about it for now. I'm pretty busy with work related things but Learn Japanese Pod does seem to be taking off now so stayed tuned for the latest developments.
