You might want to add the "social" aspect to renting--both the positives and the negatives that foreigners are likely to encounter. But how about something as basic as 家賃 (やちん) rent. Having a section on how to read newspaper or real estate ads might be helpful including some basic terms like 畳 (じょう) -tatami mats (counter) and the fact that depending on where you are in Japan, tatami sizes vary.
