I haven’t used it in a while, but when I did it was an utterly jaw-droppingly good website, and it’s got a ridiculous amount of content for free. Plus, it keeps getting updated / expanded / improved, and the programmer seems to know what they’re doing, so each version is somehow better.

I do very highly recommend http://www.sharedtalk.com to get some language exposure in. It is a free service hosted by Rosetta Stone to connect those learning with native speakers.

I gave it a shot and found someone interested in chatting almost instantly after logging on. I haven’t used it regularly, but it seems to be an excellent resource when you aren’t around native speakers regularly.
